Opercules

in mould labels (iml)

This type of packaging is very scratch and moisture resistant, and particularly resistant to large temperature fluctuations. Ideal in fact for frozen and cooled products such as margarine and ice cream, but also eminently suitable for paint packaging, bread boxes or other packaging types.
No need to worry about the label image quality either. Our rotation press prints in maximum eight colours to ensure that your packaging stands out from other packaging on the shelves.

Barrier coating

The purpose of a package is to form a barrier between the contents and damaging factors from the external environment. In this way, the quality of the product and extended the shelf life and saleability are protected. This technique can be applied to different products: food products, beverages, medicines, cosmetics, ...
A suitable barrier function usually requires a complex build-up of different polymer and coating layers or by the use of aluminium.

Specific features IML and Longlife IML

  • Moisture resistant
  • Scratch resistant
  • Tape resistant
  • Excellent image quality
  • Resistant to large temperature fluctuations
  • Pasteurizable
  • Barrier coating
  • Durability

Our IML labels perfectly meet the requirements of the circular economy. Our products are 100% recyclable.

In 2019, we developed 'home compostable' IML labels for single serve cups at customer request. These are injected against biodegradable plastic cups, resulting in a biodegradable single-use cup.

    Wrap around labels

Wrap around labels are ideal for extensive productions with bottles or cylindrical containers, although small runs are just as workable and affordable thanks to our offset procedure and low staring-costs.

    Specific features wrap around labels

  • Moisture resistant
  • Excellent image quality
  • 360 degrees packaging
  • flow wraps / sachets

We print flow wraps or foil packaging in small and large quantities for a wide range of packaging applications including biscuits, confectionery, tobacco pouches, chocolate, magazines, etc.

Sachets are similar to flow wraps, but tend to be used for promotional or portion packaging. Examples include sachets with food supplements or cosmetics intended for single use.

Specific features Flow wraps and Sachets

  • Low start-up costs
  • Excellent image quality
  • Optimum product protection
  • Shrink sleeves

Traditional labels and wraps are increasingly being replaced by shrink sleeves because of the latter's attractive appearance and moisture resistant properties. They are mainly used on packaging for milk, yoghurt drinks, fruit juice and lemonade, but because of their perfect fit the applications for these shrink sleeves are virtually limitless.

    Specific features Shrink sleeves

  • Low start-up costs
  • Excellent image quality
  • Moisture resistant
  • Durability

We work together with our customers to make the end products 100% recyclable. For example, we work with the same material as the final bottle around which the shrink sleeve will come, usually PET. We even go a step further and already offer our customers the opportunity to use shrink sleeves with already up to 70% recycled PET

    Bio-materials

At the request of our customers, we have successfully developed IML labels that are "home compostable". These are injected with biodegradable plastic cups, resulting in a biodegradable single-use cup.

Now we can offer this technology to our other customers and contribute to a more sustainable future.
